The System Seminar by Ken McCarthy was a great networking opportunity, and while there I met some great people, including some of the speakers.

The best part? I finally met my mentor, a million-dollar copywriter of whom I’ve been a student for so many years and from whom I’ve purchased so many products: Dan Kennedy.

The master himself, Dan Kennedy. My mentor. My inspiration. The person I owe much of my success to. And the highlight of the conference. I’ve met Dan a few times before, but briefly, since tons of people keep swarming around him at such conferences. (His teachings have made so many people rich, it’s no wonder.)

The venerable Paul Myers. A friend. A great copywriter. A drinking buddy (of the caffeinated persuasion). And a really smart guy. I kid you not when I say some of the best stuff on the Internet comes from Talk Biz News at  TalkBiz.com. If you’re not subscribed, get on it NOW . (Which rock have you been hiding under?)

Stephen Pierce, trailblazing marketer and author of Under Oath: The Whole Truth About Internet Marketing at the-whole-truth.com is one of the smartest marketers I’ve ever met. His speech was inspirational. He even appeared as if he was a preacher on fire! But it was also a reality check… If he ever speaks again, I’m there!

The beautiful Alexandria Brown, also known as the Ezine Queen at EzineQueen.com, is one of the most beautiful people I’ve ever met. Not just in terms of appearances, too. She’s a bright and has an awesome personality. A really nice person. You must subscribe to her newsletter, Straight Shooter Marketing.

Tameka Sowder and Wes Pritt. Long time clients and real dear friends. After emailing back and forth to each other for years, it was neat to finally put “face to font,” if you will. They launched AffiliateMastery.com years back (licensed to large firm since then), and I wrote the copy for it. Now they own several other sites… And they’re still cranking them out!

This is my brother, Alex Sampson. A long time subscriber and associate, and an all-round, really nice guy. Alex is the owner of Ultra Marketing, Inc. at ultra-marketing.com. He’s also a really smart guy, too… I mean, he keeps spitting out new ideas! (Hint: watch for a JV soon…)

I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting tons of really bright people: Jonathan Mizel, Yanik Silver, Armand Morin, Jimmy D. Brown, Jon Keel, Martin Wales, John Reese, Alex Mandossian, Chip Tarver, Rick Raddatz, Marc Harty, Tom Antion, Bryan Ellis, Lawrence Katzman and too many other to mention, here.

We’ll see you again in San Francisco for #4!
