What a fantastic call tonight! I grilled radio copywriting expert Dan O’Day for a little more than an hour on how to write effective radio advertising that gets maximum results.
Again, this one-hour teleseminar was to support our upcoming, intensive 2-day workshop in Los Angeles on how to write compelling copy for multimedia. (Which we only mentioned at the tail-end of the call.)
As promised, here’s the one-hour interview recording.

It’s around the corner! More and more people are registering to come to my upcoming seminar on multimedia copywriting with Dan O’Day.
You already know who I am, but you probably don’t know Dan, who’s my “secret weapon” when it comes to audio and radio copy.
Dan is the world’s leading expert on radio advertising, which just happens to be the single most effective mass medium for driving targeted traffic to a website.
Well, Dan agreed to do a special teleseminar for you this Wednesday.

I feel kinda bad.
Julie Isaac, who commented on a previous blog post in which I said I was preparing for my upcoming Web 2.0 copywriting workshop, was upset with me. And for good reason, too. Here’s what she said:
This is the first time, since you announced it in May, that I’ve seen you write about your Web 2.0 Copywriting workshop. Are you still planning it for the weekend of November 10th? I’ve been holding that weekend open since I heard your plans, but finally gave up, figuring you must have postponed it. Just last week, I signed up for something else that weekend. Please tell me I’m not going to miss your workshop!!!
Sorry to dissapoint you, Julie. But yes, the seminar is indeed that weekend.
The salesletter is not up yet, but if this seminar interests you, you can certainly go there now and join the notification list. That way, you will be notified as soon as the web page is up so you can register…
Click here for the Web 2.0 Copywriting workshop.
(You gotta see what Dan O’Day has in store for you… He shared it with me last night on the phone, and it blew me away! You’re going to love this event. Plus, with Google Audio Ads coming out, his stuff is very timely.)

The last two weeks were crazy-busy at the Fortin office.
From speaking in Philadelphia, returning to Canada for just a few days and then leaving for Raleigh for another event (and being stuck for 24 hours in Chicago’s airport due to a canceled flight), to being in the middle of launching three major products…
… I just wanted to “pop my head in” and say “Hi!” But while I’m here, there’s something I wanted to let you know. Something that can be downright frightening.
What is it about? Take this chilling scenario…

I want to tell you about a few upcoming events that might interest you, one of which I am personally putting on with another top copywriter. (Plus, I need your feedback and possibly your help.)
First off, a little backstory.
After my recent report, The Death of The Salesletter, and other reports like "The Death of Internet Marketing" by Mike Filsaime and "The Rebirth of Internet Marketing" by John Reese, I received quite a few requests.
Specifically, and since we talked about increasing popularization of Web 2.0, audio, and video (and multimedia in general), and how they are growing in the online sales experience, people have asked me over and over again:
"Michel, how do you write copy for audio and video?"
Well, you’re in for a treat…

I'm back from Atlanta from attending the Big Seminar.
I got to see my friends and some top marketers while there, including Jim Edwards, Marlon Sanders, Mike Woo-Ming, Brad Fallon, Jeff Johnson, Ray Edwards, Eric Graham, and more. (The picture on the left is with Eric Graham, one of my coaching students.)
The highlight of the weekend, aside from the great content and the networking and shoulder-rubbing opportunities, was Saturday night. Dr. Scott Lewis, an Internet marketer as well, is a hypnotist with a regular show in Vegas. He gave a show on Saturday that was filled with surprises.
(My jaw still hurts from laughing so much!)
Nevertheless, I’m back in the office and now getting ready for a ton of events. May is shaping up to be quite a busy month, with webinars, teleseminars, copy critiques, and more.
First on the agenda…

Want to crawl inside my mind for a an hour or so to learn the process I go through to write copy? Tonight is your chance.
My coaching student, Eric Graham, is not only a copywriter but also a webinar expert. He’s in the process of producing several webinars to create content for an upcoming product he’s putting together.
So he asked me If was interested. I accepted.
And tonight, we’re doing not an interview but an actual, step-by-step webinar where I’m going to expand on the seven steps in my writing process.
And no, we’re not selling a thing. There’s nothing to buy.
