After 9 Months, It’s Finally Born!

Sky Tower New ZealandI’m back from New Zealand. We had a chance to eat at The Orbit, a rotating restaurant at the top of the Sky Tower with our friend and copywriting whiz Alan Forrest Smith.

Now that I’m back, I have a something for you.

You’ve probably read my last blog post about this seeming “intuitive skill” some marketers seem to have when finding red-hot niches online — or confirming if yours is viable and profitable, and how to sell more. It’s the first and most important step in Success Chef.

It took my wife Sylvie Fortin over nine long months to put together. You get close to five hours of streaming lessons with tons of resources. And it’s getting rave reviews!

Testing New Camcorder With Killer Drum Karaoke

Drumming to When We Were Young by The KillersBought myself a new camcorder (JVC Everio) and compression software to record some “whiteboard discussions” with my wife Sylvie for SuccessChef.com content.

I wanted to test the software. So I decided to place the camera in front of my drum set (the lighting was bad and my fault), and played along with “When We Were Young” by The Killers. (One of my favorite bands!)

This was recorded on the first and only take — I never played this song before, but I wanted to try out the camera and the compression software. (If you ever wondered if I can really play drums, you can judge for yourself.)

Don’t laugh, but here I am playing “drum karaoke” to the Killers. What do you think?

Breaking My Back Promoting New Product. Literally.

SpineHere at the Big Seminar in Atlanta, the same question seems to pop up over and over again. I walk with a cane now, and people keep asking me, “Michel, What’s wrong? Are you OK? What happened?”

I don’t blame them. My wife told me I was turning as white as a ghost, so we’ve decided to go back to our room to take some time — and pressure — off my spine.

I thought to myself, “Maybe I should take advantage of this downtime to blog about this — that way, more people will know what’s going on.”

You see, I have a broken back. Literally.
