After my recent push for Robert Plank’s Speed Copy Secrets copywriting special report on how to write copy in under an hour, I wanted to test a few other things from Robert, since he’s a gifted programmer and offers some neat scripts.

(Actually, I recently bought everything from Robert I could get my hands on, and so far I’m thoroughly impressed. Specifically, his “Full-Blast PHP” and “Sales Page Tactics Volumes 1-3″ products are fabulous.)

I believe that the path to true personal greatness can be found through the use of a personal journal. Remember that you will never be as successful as you will be to your own self, and the journal can enlighten you in more ways in this area than you would have ever thought possible. Many great successful men and women have kept personal journals.

In the second commandment, you learned that you should be the leader in your category or in your unique area of expertise. Now you need to be known as such. And one of the most effective ways to do this is through publicity.

I met a fellow once while working in New York City who ran his own show on cable television — his very own cable show! Cable and community television stations are wonderful mediums to get the word out effectively. This is an area in which you can get a lot of publicity at little or no cost.

After the launch of our new automated split-testing software, controversy soon followed.

Most of it was caused by the math behind it (which is complex and understandably hard to grasp for most people), or by competitors spreading misinformation.

So people were either confused by it or misunderstood it.

For example, some people posted in popular forums that my copy for MutiTrackGenerator.com is misleading because it’s not pure Taguchi.

(Well, technically, they’re right.)
