Review of Robert Plank's SpeedCopySecrets.com

Review of Robert Plank's SpeedCopySecrets.com

ffcvid1icon Review of Robert Planks SpeedCopySecrets.comLast week I told you about Robert Plank’s product, SpeedCopySecrets.com, which I highly recommend.

While nothing beats learning great copywriting, this product is fantastic for anyone who wants to know how to come up with copy really fast that’s good enough to start selling with.

It’s also really good for non-copywriters and marketers who don’t want to take the time to learn how to write copy or pay an expensive copywriter to have it written for them.

So I’ve decided to record a quick review of Robert Plank’s SpeedCopySecrets.com. To watch, simply click on “play” below. It’s very brief (just a few minutes), but in it I go through the product and tell you what I like best about it…

Visit SpeedCopySecrets.com and get your copy today.

  • Cool! I didn't expect you to do a video review. I was blushing the whole way through while watching...

And BTW, I did make all of those videos 6 minutes and 40 seconds on purpose. :-) Have you heard of pecha kucha?
  • @Robert Plank - "pecha kucha"? Hmmm. I think I have, but I'm not sure I remember. What is it?
  • pecha kucha = 20 slide presentation, each shown for 20 seconds each.

    Pronounced pitch-otch-cuh.

My secret weapon to compressing as much information as possible into a video presentation.
  • @Robert Plank - Very cool! Ya, I figured it was something like that.

I remember someone taught me the 30/30/30/30 rule for regular presentations. 30 slides for 30 minutes with no more than 30 words per slide at 30 point font (so 1 slide per 1 minute, essentially).

And don't mention it (about the video review). It's my pleasure. I've been meaning to do it because some people asked me what the product included and if it was really that good.

I said "yes," but the video is a lot more powerful.
  • In various sales training I have been in over the last 15+ years (and a couple I taught), have talked about the best presentation rate. How many slides over what period of time.

Obviously it depends on how slides are structured and sales goal. In face to face presentations, I prefer less information per slide then if it is a recorded presentation. The presentations I would get for the corporate marketing's group always crammed too much information onto the slides. Some slides were real eye charts. For my direct sales I would always have to rework the slides. Not something the marketing folks liked if they saw it. But hey, I had sales to make.

  • I've bought this product. It's very simple--it almost seems too simple--but very powerful. His opt-in script, which you use here is top notch. I've also got a copy of his Sales Page Tactics 3, which contains the very same dime-sale script he uses to get buyers into a buying frenzy... Check them out... Robert practically gives this stuff away!

I am totally going to try 30/30/30/30 for my next video presentation and see how it compares to pecha kucha for me.

Yep, I hate PowerPoints with whole paragraphs on each slide. I really like Seth Godin's presentation style and I used in anywhere I could during college.

His advice about powerpoints is: use one word on a slide if you have to, two words on an occassional basis, and three words... never!

He would rather you show nothing but an image on each slide to set the right emotion, that's PowerPoint's only job according to Seth.

That works for live presentations but for screen capture videos I have to go back to 2-3 bullet points per slide.
  • Hey Michel, thank you for telling us about Robert's products!

When I dropped by the other day, I already thought your blue pop up was cool, before reading it was Robert's stuff I was already sold on it.

And yes, I ended taking his upsell... now have lots to look through!

Offtopic Question (please delete if inappropriate):

How did you cloaked the affiliate link?

    Thanks for a short tip,
    Eddie
  • @Eddie - Strangely enough, there's no cloaking. The domain, SpeedCopySecrets.com, is mine, and it simply forwards to Robert's site (my affiliate link).

However, Robert may be using different tools. If you check out his blog, there are other products and tools that he offers that might answer your question. (For example, look for his "JV Plus" script.)
  • I got the course too and I think it is awesome. I appreciate Michel sharing that with me. It is good to know that things can be done in a simple manner.
Thank you Robert for powerful info.

    Happy Holidays!
