RZ%20best%20picture small Michel Fortin InterviewRecently, Michel Fortin, author of Drop Your Goals (And Man­age Your Life!), was inter­viewed by Ralph Zuran­ski. For over an hour, Michel dis­cussed some of the con­cepts based on his book.

Ralph Zuran­ski is the cre­ator of the “In Search Of Heroes™” pro­gram, whose aim is to gen­er­ate income to fund ben­e­fi­cial com­mu­nity pro­grams, activ­i­ties, equip­ment, soft­ware, train­ing and travel through cash dona­tions and affil­i­ate mar­ket­ing, par­tic­u­larly for, or geared towards, dis­ad­van­taged kids.

Ralph Zuran­ski, a for­mer spe­cial feature’s writer and pho­tog­ra­pher for the Coro­n­ado Eagle News­pa­per, cre­ated the In Search Of Heroes™ Pro­gram for High School Stu­dents in 1992–1993.

The entire com­mu­nity of Coro­n­ado worked together to help stu­dents dis­cover and develop their own heroic poten­tial. After they believed they could be heroes, they were matched up with men­tors to help them iden­tify and inter­view local heroes. They cre­ated arti­cles, newslet­ters, web­sites and videos to spread the Good News about neigh­bors, fam­ily mem­bers, friends and com­mu­nity res­i­dents who were help­ing others.

This “hobby” soon blos­somed into an Inter­net web­site with inter­views of local and now inter­na­tional, Internet-​​based heroes. Why? Because Ralph real­ized in the year 2001 that the inter­net is the per­fect vehi­cle to spread Good News world-​​wide instantly and inexpensively.

Michel Fortin is one of them.
