Juan Mann, One Love
I was a little introspective today. A bit numb. A bit gloomy. A bit pensive. So I surfed the web and YouTube, and came across this amazing video. It changed me right away.
If you go over to YouTube, there’s even a video interview with the man behind it, Juan Mann, who was required by the city to stop or take out a $25 million (yes, that’s $25,000,000.00) liability insurance. A 10,000-name petition put an end to that. Thankfully.
Here’s the video. It’s uplifting and inspiring.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. It brought a tear to my eye.

Michael, I didn’t shed a tear … it was an entire waterworks! How wonderful that he triumphed. What a beautiful person. And thank you for sharing. I’m going to add it to my blog, too and watch it whenever the world seems too hopeless.

That was wonderful!!! Just wonderful!
Another ‘thank you’ for sharing that.
And Sydney Johnston has the right idea — I’ve got to save it, too, so I can watch it when I need joy.
One question — where’s my Free Hug???

My darling wife has a little pocket card with the same general words!
Here’s a thought: How many aborted babies would hold up that sign if only they had a choice?
Here’s another thought: Instead of using dull pocket knives and personal explosives to behead, mutilate, and murder, wouldn’t the Jihad gain world respect by switching to this sign?
Another thought: In the midst of arguing out frustrations with those we want to love, would it change the dynamic if we silently handed over one of these signs?
Once upon a time, long ago, a song was sung; “All the world needs now is Love . . .” Who dares live out those words?
NOW
Hey! It was Fun! What more can I say?

Admitedly, I did get a little chocked up watching, only because it portrays in a very real way how few people are willing to accept unconditional love. It’s a twisted person that thinks Juan Mann is the weirdo because he chooses to give of the good that he has in his heart. I would have gladly received a hug from him, or anyone for that matter. Even science has concluded that physical touch is beneficial to health. Thanks for caring enough to share Michel.
