I'm Leaving This Blog...

… For the rest of August because I’m get­ting mar­ried! Yup, in less than 2 weeks, I will be say­ing “I do” to my Soul Mate Sylvie Char­rier, owner of Worka​holics​ForHire​.com.

We’re soooo excited, it’s unbe­liev­able. The air is buzzing at the Fortin house­hold. Things are quickly falling into place, and we are all look­ing for­ward to the big day. For example…

… We picked up the mar­riage license from City Hall yes­ter­day. Our wed­ding plan­ner has set the final details for the dec­o­ra­tions. The karoake DJ is get­ting his gear ready (can’t wait to see Armand Morin belt­ing out a tune or two… or is that Michael Lee Austin?).

And our seam­stress fin­ished the custom-​​tailored wed­ding dress. Sylvie just picked it up late last night.

(Appar­ently, it’s absolutely beau­ti­ful. I’m a lit­tle old-​​fashioned, though, as I don’t want to see it until the wed­ding day. But Sylvie and the kids are totally amazed.)

Nev­er­the­less, now that final prepa­ra­tions are under­way and the day is draw­ing closer…

… I want to give you a heads-​​up.

I will be incog­nito start­ing this Sat­ur­day onwards get­ting ready for the big day and leav­ing for my hon­ey­moon shortly there­after. So I won’t be avail­able or mak­ing any posts for a lit­tle while.

If your ques­tion is an emer­gency where only I can answer, note that the cruise ship will have lim­ited Inter­net access. I will be check­ing my emails spo­rad­i­cally but can­not guar­an­tee that I will be able to do so, or how often.

(And obvi­ously, I won’t be think­ing about work too much, either.)
