I’m Deeply Saddened
It is with great SADNESS that I’ve learned this morning some very distressing news. I’m actually still in shock as I type this, because it’s a little hard for me. In fact, harder than I thought.
But here goes…
One of my friends, a colleague and a client, Chip Tarver, emailed me with news that nearly knock me over my chair. He was replying to my email this morning, notifying my clients and subscribers about the teleseminars this week.
You may have met Chip at the many seminars he attended. Both him and I (and many other marketers) did a product last year called “First Contact Secrets.”
Other marketers include Alex Mandossian, Armand Morin, Stephen Pierce, Joe Sugarman, Jay Conrad Levinson, Joe Vitale and more.
Anyhow, Chip told me he just returned home from the hospital when he got my email. He’s in pretty bad shape.
You see, this past Satuday Chip and his wife Paula, who live in beautiful Tennessee, were hit broadside by a commercial truck. (An Orkin truck, to be precise.)
Chip was flown to the hospital in a helicopter from the scene of the accident. He’s got a broken collar bone and ribs. Bad shape, for sure. But he’s doing OK.
However, here’s the sad part…
Paula died.
I’m very sad about this, as I know them well.
So here’s my request. Chip needs to raise some money to fly Paula’s body to Delaware, pay for the funeral, cover burial expenses, etc., as he has NO insurance.
More important, he needs to find a way to replace her monthly contributions to their household income.

We’re going to create a product just for this. Here’s Paul Myers’ email to me:
I sent a note to my list and got a bunch of them asking about PayPal. We could fix that. You or I could create a PayPal address just for Chip and forward the money on to him. We could let people who contribute email him their well-wishes and let him know what they gave, so they know there’s direct accountability.
