Big Seminar 5 Photos

Big Seminar photosMy friend Armand Morin’s Big Seminar V was a blast!

As usual.

It was the biggest Big Seminar ever. The picture on the left is the humongous stage and lightshow. A massive 36′ stage and a 16′ catwalk. Pretty freakin’ amazing, if you ask me. And with close to 400 people in attendance, it was indeed the biggest one ever. (Next time promises to be even bigger, according to Armand.)

I was not only a speaker, but I also learned a ton, too. Best of all, I’ve had the chance to meet up with friends, mentors, associates and even people I’ve worked with for so long but never had a chance to meet!

It was pure fun.

(These pictures were taken by, and reprinted here with the kind permission of, Ralph Zuranski — the creator of the In Search Of Heroes copywriting program for kids. Thanks, Ralph.)

Here are some of those pictures…

The above pictures are not only my clients but also awesome friends, fanatical testers and absolutely brilliant marketers, John Reese of Traffic Secrets and Frank Kern of Underachiever Mastery. These two guys alone have been my greatest influences in my copywriting and marketing career in the last 2 years, and they have both taught me oh-so-much.

Of course, I was one of the speakers at the seminar. Apparently, many people liked my presentation. Fingers crossed. My entire talk focused not on copywriting but on a single strategy that can boost any copywriting to the next level: TESTING. I even showed tons of test results with a script Marc Quarles (a programming genius with, of all things, a marketing mindset!) created for me.

Aside from being a speaker, meeting some of my best friends in this business is one of the major reasons why I love going to seminars. The first one is Craig “Spanky” Perrine of List Profit Secrets for which I wrote the copy.

And the next is Craig and another master copywriter, David Garfinkel. Next is Carl Galletti, Shawn Casey and Mike Filsaime. (By the way, I will also be speaking at Carl’s conference in June.)

Meeting friends and especially post-seminar parties are always one of my favorite things to do at seminars like these… the beer is a nice incentive, too. ;)

Attendees are not just attendees. They’re also friends, clients, students and suppliers, too! The first one is Joe Barton, the creator of many alternative health infoproducts and a star student of my membership website, The Copy Doctor. Next is Katie Brandt of DeliverFreedom.com.

And last (but miles away from being the least!) are the two most hardest-working women I’ve ever met. Jeryl and Sylvie are the people who do all my administrative gruntwork (and a fine job, too), at Workaholics4Hire.com. (If you need help running the tedious stuff with your business so you can free up your time doing what you do best, I highly recommend them! quite simply, they “Git-R-Done!”)
