I watched a couple of Armand's videos and I like them! He is giving some good tips and since he made a heck of a lot more money than most people on the Internet he must be worth emulating and learning from.

Sure, the techniques do seem to involve re-hashed information, but who among us doesn't do this is some way? Unless you are a genius inventor, it's unlikely you will come up with anything completely new.

Regarding my prior response about profit potential of "how to" information. I just thought of a way to profit from providing free tutorials. It's to provide affiliate links to the essential materials you need to build the things in the tutorials. Kind of obvious maybe?<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('39651','Andy'); return false;">Reply</a> <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('39651','Andy','I watched a couple of Armand\'s videos and I like them!
Armand Morin is an expert of rehashed information picked up from other people. I have studied the report and do not find one piece of information that has not been spoken of elsewhere.

This happens to be a flacid attempt to instill a sense of credibility, trust and pre eminence of himself in the reader, three tactics the so called gurus are on the bandwagon with these days. Giving away for free so called " nuggets of information " and thought leadership type garbage.

The best piece of information anybody marketing online could have is that they do not need to be lead by a " self certified " guru, and should immediately climb out from the herd people like Armand attempt to control and influence as a prelude to buying their products.

I doubt this remain here for long!!<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('39633','Stealth Millionaire'); return false;">Reply</a> <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('39633','Stealth Millionaire','Armand Morin is an expert of rehashed information picked up from other people.
Thanks for the ideas Robert. Bill's products seem to be aimed at Marketers too.

I don't see much profit potential in the "how to" market unless it's "how to make money", "how to lose weight" or "how to get a girlfriend". How to stuff like in your list is usually covered for free online.<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('39621','Andy'); return false;">Reply</a> <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('39621','Andy','Thanks for the ideas Robert.
Andy Writes..

"I will not be falling back on my Electronics expertise to create products such as “how to make an Amplifier” or am I making a mistake there?"

You might be making a small mistake in terms of perspective...

While there might not be a particularly great demand for how to build amplifiers, there is a pelthora of ideas that come to mind especially if you are skilled in the electronics field.

I don't know what your specialization is in terms of electronics, but the "how to" market in this area is wide open regarding DVD's, Viral Videos, and Ebooks with instructional screenshots..

Doing a little Googling, and some ideas from my own small mind, are some searchable topics that can be explored...

"how to build a PC"
"how to install any kind of cd drive in your computer"
"how to install a DVD burner"
"how to install car audio speakers"
"building a PC in 90 seconds" (There is a Youtube video about this)
"how to install a hardrive"
"how to install an external hard drive for a sony laptop"
"how to install an external hard drive for a Dell laptop"
"how to install a mother board for your computer"
"how to hack an Xbox"
"how to install a new hardrive in your Xbox"
"digital camera tutorials"
"build a waterproof camcorder housing for about $10!"
"making a camcorder stabilizer"
"how to make a rocket launched cam corder"

As mentioned, I don't know "all of what you know, or don't know" in terms of electronics, and you might be limited to one specific discipline. But, if you have a broad based talent in electronics, then the "how to world" if your oyster.

A site that might help you stimulate ideas, as well as information about tutorial and product development is the Bill Meyers website (Bmyers.com).

From the Bill Meyers website..

"Find how-to's, project ideas, project examples, tutorials, the Product Developers Newsletters, a large download library of tools and resellable products and more - to help you build your product development business."

I joined some years ago and found it to be an invaluable resource. Bill has been around for a long time, and has wonderful creative instincts when it comes to product development..

Just some food for your creative thoughts..

Hope it helps..

I read the report. It is a good read but I don't think Armand made $45 million outside the Internet Marketing area. I am sure I marked his emails as Spam a while back.

One thing I learned from guys like him is to create IM newbie products, that is where the money seems to be. I will not be falling back on my Electronics expertise to create products such as "how to make an Amplifier" or am I making a mistake there?

Also, I need to visit the dentist to polish my teeth to emulate the leaders in the industry.

Hey, we all need a sense of humor right?<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('39615','Andy'); return false;">Reply</a> <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('39615','Andy','I read the report.
Michael,

Thank you for your continuing voice of reason. I was beginning to think that one needed to talk about something or someone dying just to get any attention.
Yeh those "death of" reports were getting progressively more ridiculous.

Internet marketing is probably the fastest growing industry on the entire planet.

The prophets of doom for internet marketing, sales letters (whoops), and every other field that's been covered as clearly in some terrible tanking demise should just take a step back and look at this industry from the outside.

Have they even checked to see exactly how many billions of dollars this industry has grown even in just the last 2 years.

Kindest regards,

@Robert:

There are several My wife has her company, although they're pretty busy these days. Another is AllCustomContent.com. It's co-owned by Mila, who used to be one of my coaching students.

They edit my articles and content for me, do research, and even write a few, too. Very good quality. I think their ebook service is here:

This report hit a few "reality check nerves", and it is confirmation that I am not doing the things necessary to develop a solid Internet business..

An Obvious Truth, as it is appropriately named, shall set you free...

The stunner for me was the revelation that Yanik Silver (if truth be told) and Alex Mandossian can't develop a website on their own. Yet, they are more successful with their Internet properties then I will ever be..

Developing multiple websites with well researched and profitable niches is part of the key to Internet success. Outsourcing has to be a critical portion of that equation as well.

Something I have yet to grapple with, being of the mindset that I should be able to do the work myself. A mindset that I need to get away from.

Another positive feature of report was design. I appreciated the short paragraphs, sprinkled with a generous amount of white space.

I am advid reader of ebooks and, at times, cannot believe the incredible amount of wasteful and irrelevent filler information that some contain.

But - this one has really was served up in bite size portions with great information that really held my attention. Nice clean template as well.

Much respect and well done Armand..

Thanks Mike for bringing it to my attention..

PS - Is there someone out there with an ebook on the outsourcing services they use to develop websites and ebooks - that is somewhat - if not resonably reliable - and provide quality content development?

The sales page format (especially that overused From XXXX, Re: "YYY") really annoyed me, but since you recommend the report, I'll have a look. Hopefully it will really be a good read.<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('39607','Bobby Handzhiev'); return false;">Reply</a> <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('39607','Bobby Handzhiev','The sales page format (especially that overused From XXXX, Re: \"YYY\") really annoyed me, but since you recommend the report, I\'ll have a look.
Very good report - that's a great adwords idea re k/ws H1 tags/titles etc on separate landing pages to avoid relevancy hits, and separate landing pages by k/w - thanks. I will test that!

I liked this report - well done. And I agree completely re JVs, and that's good to see it was highlighted in the report re if you could never do a jv again, how would you build your business... excellent point for many marketers to absorb.

Thanks, Armand. This one was a winner.
